Engaging, cohesive, and intuitively designed for you and your students, the One95 literacy system helps you build a modular literacy toolkit to effectively develop your students’ readers skills throughout their critical K-5 elementary school years and beyond. Our ecosystem integrates professional learning and evidence-based literacy products into one cohesive system that supports consistent instruction across tiers — so you’re ready and able to help every child realize their reading potential. Our school customers often say they love how every product in our ecosystem speaks the same language, allowing them to provide instruction easily and consistently to meet each child’s needs. They also comment that the consistent instructional routines across our products help free up their students’ “cognitive space” so that their students are able to focus on developing their skills, rather than learning new instructional language or routines,
Our ecosystem of literacy products are designed to work with diverse skill levels in whole classroom instruction, intervention groups, tutoring, targeted IEP instruction, ELL, and more. Our products are effective for the full range of learners, and the evidence proves this. We regularly sponsor third-party research by independent literacy evaluation firms to measure the effectiveness of our programs.
95 Percent Group has long invested in rigorous, independent research so you can rest assured our offerings will work effectively for all of your educators and students. The studies were designed with guidance from the Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA) and meet the highest levels of evidence: strong, moderate, and promising. This growing body of research shows that our products have evidence of effectiveness with multiple populations, grades, and reading abilities. This is what sets us apart and makes us the most trusted source for proven literacy solutions today. We also hold Digital Promise certification for “Research-Based Design for Instructional Learning Products,” which confirms that our product design is based in the science of reading.
We make it easy. Empowering teachers with solutions that demonstrate rigorous evidence of efficacy and that they love using are our top priorities. Lessons are fully-prepared and ready to use in the classroom. Our assessments help educators pinpoint each child’s skill deficits and map instruction directly to the resources in our One95 literacy ecosystem, so teachers know exactly which products to use, how to group children, and where to begin instruction. Our products include instructional dialogue and manipulatives students love to use in class, including our popular 95 Phonics Chip Kit. And our Teacher’s Editions and digital subscriptions make every solution turnkey—even for summer school teachers, teachers new to your school, or teachers supporting literacy in intermediate grades for the first time.
We also offer a full range of professional learning services, including virtual product training, foundational courses, symposia on how to implement the science of reading in your school, and districtwide instruction from our team of literacy experts.
95 Percent Group started in 2005 with a vision to help schools and districts provide every child with the literacy instruction they deserve. Our founder, Dr. Susan L. Hall, EdD, was an early trailblazer in translating the science of reading into effective structured literacy tools and professional learning for educators. Her work united an extensive network of teachers, schools, and districts who believe in the outsized impact of reading. Our entire leadership team has dedicated their careers to improving student outcomes, and all of our employees either are experienced educators or have long experience working in education. No one brings more expertise and passion to advancing literacy for all students than this team.
Today 95 Percent Group is proud to continue our legacy as leaders in putting the science of reading into practice in schools and districts in every state in the country.

A growing number of states that are realigning reading instruction to the Science of Reading are approving One95 literacy products as recommended literacy curriculum resources.
As more educators, literacy advocates, and parents demand phonics-based instruction, you will likely find growing interest in explicit, cumulative, targeted instruction. The One95 literacy ecosystem is designed to integrate with any existing literacy curriculum, adding explicit, systematic, and cumulative phonics instruction to your Tier 1 reading block and to your Tier 2 and 3 intervention program. Our literacy experts are also available with the knowledge, professional learning, and resources you need to implement our products and transition smoothly from other products, if that is your goal. We will not only help you get up and running, but we will help you every step of the way as you put your knowledge about the science of reading into practice with your instructional materials. And we also know that educators love to learn from peer educators! Many of our existing school customers are model schools, ready to invite you in to see our ecosystem in action and share their best practices.
