Regional Consultant Manager

Location: Remote, US

Position Type: Full-time

Salary range: $110,000 - $125,000

The primary responsibility of this position is providing the leadership required to ensure the quality of 95 Percent Group’s consulting services in order to provide best-in-class product implementation, professional development, and coaching.  The Regional Consultant Manager will manage assigned consultants in accomplishing their duties. The Regional Consultant Manager will work closely with the Consultant Training Manager to provide high-quality onboarding, training, coaching, and mentoring for consultants. In addition to supporting consultants in the field, the Regional Consultant Manager will work closely with Client Managers to support current clients in fully implementing 95 Percent Group’s services and products The Regional Consultant Manager will also work with a Regional Sales Manager in understanding particular needs of clients within a region so that services can be tailored to meet those needs and secure committed clients. 

 

Core Responsibilities 

 

Consultant Leadership 

  • Manage a team of assigned consultants that results in achieving and exceeding their objectives 
  • Work as an invested member of the Consultant Leadership Team, serving with the spirit of continuous growth and development of the team 
  • Working closely with the Consultant Training Manager, responsible for onboarding, training, coaching, and mentoring new consultants as outlined in the Consultant Handbook.   
  • Model excellence in consulting services and offer high-level of strategic collaboration and guidance 
  • Demonstrate the qualities of a servant-leader with the goal of all team members’ delivering best-in-class services as evidenced by client satisfaction surveys and ongoing evaluations 

Consultant Operations 

  • Detect operational inefficiencies and develop recommendations for improvements 
  • Promote effective collaboration within Consulting Services and between Consulting Services and Sales 
  • Collaborate across Company departments to better meet client needs and expectations 

Evaluation/Feedback 

  • Under the leadership of the Director of Consulting Services, identify annual team and individual goals and objectives 
  • Develop systems to tracking achievement of goals, client satisfaction, and ongoing evaluation of consultants 
  • Conduct periodic performance reviews foidentified consultants and create performance improvement plans as needed 
  • Review and approve staff PTO requests while taking into consideration client demand 

Continuous Staff Development 

  • Under the leadership of the Director of Consulting Services, plan and arrange for ongoing professional development of consultants 
  • Measure and report on the consistency of knowledge acquisition across the team, taking responsibly to meet knowledge acquisition goals in collaboration with the Director of Consulting Services and Chief Academic Officer 
  • Responsible for working closely with the Director of Consulting Services on the assignment of nonstandard consulting services 

Key Accountabilities 

  • Consultants are equipped to provide the highest quality services to clients 
  • Clients are equipped to meet their goals/objectives 
  • Consulting team efforts are enhanced through shared insights of the cross-departmental teams (Consulting Services, Sales, Client Success) on how to effectively engage and serve clients 
  • Rigorous and scalable systems for consultant support and evaluation are developed and implemented 


Skills and Qualifications 

  • Master's degree in K–6 education and/or advanced degrees in education, reading, or special education. 
  • 5 years of experience teaching reading at the primary level. 
  • 3 years of experience in a leadership/management role. 
  • Extensive knowledge of scientifically based reading research and training in widely used core reading programs.  
  • Extensive knowledge and experience working with Acadience Reading (formerly DIBELS) and/or other assessments and screeners.  
  • Experience providing professional development to teachers, as well as experience in a reading coach’s role. 
  • Knowledge about Reading First, training in LETRS, and/or any multisensory structured language approach, such as Orton-Gillingham. 
  • Strong interpersonal skills that build relationships of trust and confidence. 
  • A communication and management style that exhibits the mission and values of 95 Percent Group and fosters effective team relationships. 
  • The ability to build and foster remote team relationships. 
  • Passion for literacy and improving reading achievement for students. 


Physical Requirements/Work Environment:

•The use of standard office equipment/computers and some light physical work is required.

•The work environment will range from an office to classroom setting with a low to high noise level.

•Candidate must be able and willing to travel extensively. Some weekend travel may be necessary. Relocation is not necessary.
