Director of Revenue Operations

Location: Remote, US

Position Type: Full-time

Salary range: $175,000 - $185,000

 
 

The Director, Revenue Operations, will work closely with senior leadership, playing a crucial role in driving commercial operations from end-to-end. They will be involved in the full life cycle starting from sales forecasting to lead generation to conversion and retention, optimizing our go-to-market (GTM) approach. This individual will implement key strategies and processes to ensure alignment to the organization’s revenue plan, while strengthening pipeline visibility and management. The role is deeply cross-functional and will be a focal point for the Company at this stage of its growth. Reporting directly to the SVP, Commercial Strategy & Operations, the Director, Revenue Operations, will play a pivotal part in driving organizational scale and success.  

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Implement and support comprehensive revenue strategies aligned with Company objectives
  • Work closely with other departments, including sales, marketing, finance, product management, and technology, to ensure alignment and collaboration towards revenue goals
  • Develop detailed reports and dashboards to provide real-time visibility into revenue and performance metrics
  • Direct and enhance Salesforce strategies, as well as related customer relationship management (CRM) technologiesto maximize sales productivity and streamline CRM processes
  • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to track the effectiveness of revenue operations initiatives, while monitoring performance and adjusting as necessary to drive results
  • Work closely with finance and senior leadership to align revenue projections with overall business objectives, supporting key activities around commission planning and quota setting, as well as effective pipeline management and reporting 
  • Ensurthat GTM teams have the data, strategies, and process support to accomplish key business outcomes and maximize revenue growth
  • Utilize data-driven insights to inform decision-making, identify trends, and track KPIs related to revenue generation and client engagement
  • Foster alignment between the sales and marketing teams to ensure seamless coordination throughout the client journey
  • Evaluate existing processes across sales and marketing to identify opportunities for optimization and efficiency gains

Skills and Qualifications:  

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, or a related field; MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred
  • 7+ years of experience in revenue operations, sales operations, or related roles 
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to analyze complex data sets, derive insights, and make data-driven decisions
  • Strategic thinker with a track record of developing and executing revenue growth strategies that drive business results
  • Expertise in data analysis, reporting, and forecasting, with proficiency in CRM and marketing automation platforms (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, Gainsight)
  • Ability to drive sales productivity and enhanccustomer relationship management processes
  • Strong leadership skills with a demonstrated ability to influence cross-functional teams and engage with executives
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts to a variety of stakeholders
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with a focus on results and adaptability
  • Demonstrated experience in fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, execution, and continuous improvement within an organization

Physical Requirements/Work Environment:  

  • This is a remote position

 

Compensation: The base salary range for this position is $175,000-$185,000. Additionally, this role is eligible for a 15% bonus based on individual and company performance. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, life, disability, and a 401K plan with a 4% company match.
