Associate Product Manager
Location: Remote, US
Position Type: Full-time
The Associate Product Manager will have an understanding of the education market and will manage the day-to-day operations necessary to create new print and digital products, as well as improvements to existing products, based on customer feedback and input from internal customer-facing teams. The Associate Product Manager collaborates with senior product leaders and with stakeholders across departments to ensure the organization is delivering high-quality, evidenced-based literacy products that meet customer needs and deliver a high return on investment.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Assist product leadership with the management of a suite of research-proven literacy solutions
- Assist in developing and driving product strategies that deliver high-quality, evidence-based print and digital literacy solutions
- Build efficiency and scalability by updating business systems and creating new processes
- Serve as subject matter expert on solutions in product suite
- Serve as a partner to sales and marketing, developing documentation, go-to-market strategies, and positioning
- Keep the organization informed on the field as you conduct competitive research and stay on top of the latest literacy news
- Work closely with engineering, design, data science and other product managers to ensure the timely and high-quality delivery of product releases
- Train internal staff on new product offerings and changes to existing offerings
Skills and Qualifications:
- Ability to be a self-starter who is willing to jump into unfamiliar situations, ask good questions, and propose solutions
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to understand your audience and tailor your message to what they need to know
- Exceptional collaboration skills with the ability to bring together cross-functional teams
- Experience contributing to business strategy (pricing, marketing tactics, etc.)
- Have 3+ years of experience in product management
- Experience teaching or managing education-related products
- Have a Bachelor's degree or above
