Representative Projects ::

State Level

	Coordinated a 3-day training in how to administer and score the DIBELS. Attended by approximately 2,000 Reading First teachers in the state. Trained local trainers.
	Developed a state-sponsored week-long summer institute attended by nearly 2,000 K-3 teachers in the state. Based on curriculum from LETRS by Sopris West.
	Made presentations at more than 15 state-sponsored reading conferences and institutes. Topics included Foundations of Early Reading Instruction, the 3-Tier Reading Model, DIBELS, and Intervention Instruction.
	Consulted with several state departments of education on implementation of the Reading First program.

District Level

	Planned a K-3 reading initiative and assisted in implementation in all elementary schools. Evaluated existing curriculum and recommended intervention programs and materials. Facilitated administrator meetings.
	Delivered a series of workshops to train teachers in administering DIBELS and data analysis for small-group placement and informed instructional decisions.
	Coordinated a one-day summer conference on reading with 6 speakers on different topics.
	Developed and coordinated a week-long institute for 300 reading teachers in a district.

School Level

	Consulted with school to compile an intervention tool kit. Advised which of the more than 200 available intervention programs met school needs in light of the student population, teacher background knowledge, existing core and supplemental materials, budget constraints, etc.
	Delivered one-day workshops in administering and scoring student assessment instruments, including DIBELS.
	Delivered one-day workshops in interpreting and analyzing DIBELS assessment data to inform instruction.
	Provided one-on-one or small-group coaching and modeling in implementing small-group intervention instruction.
